Tolga Sugetiren is a seasoned engineering and technology leader with over 19 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and business development. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at Canovate Electronics, where he plays a crucial role in driving the company’s global projects and technological advancements.
As the Director of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Sugetiren oversees the engineering, R&D, software development, and business development teams in strategic markets, managing over 150 professionals. He has spearheaded Canovate’s defense industry collaborations, leading partnerships with organizations while also managing global client projects. His expertise extends to product development, crisis management, large-scale project execution, and strategic investment planning.
Prior to his current role, he held leadership positions in manufacturing, sales, and technical operations, successfully managing turn-key projects across multiple industries, including defense, telecommunications, and industrial automation. His extensive background includes directing large-scale infrastructure projects, overseeing supply chain operations, and optimizing R&D and production processes.
Mr. Sugetiren holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in the same field. He is fluent in English and Turkish and actively follows emerging technologies in engineering and manufacturing.
